How it works on iPhone
Tap browse files above and choose a video from your Photo Library. Pick a target size — 20 MB is a safe default for sharing — and hit Compress. When it's done, the MP4 downloads to your Files app, where you can save it back to Photos or share it anywhere.
Two iPhone tips: keep Safari in the foreground while it encodes (iOS throttles background tabs), and plug in if the clip is long — encoding uses your phone's CPU, which is the whole reason nothing gets uploaded.

Where does the compressed video go?
